They matched the offer and more!

God has had me in a season of making decisions and patiently waiting on him even when I wasn't. Some know that I was brought on to Goodman A/C as a temp (God opened the door within 2 days of my being laid off from a previous warehouse job. Well instantly I fell in love with what I was doing but the money became an issue after a while with Covid. I asked God what to do and he said to continue working for his glory and he would provide. Well this past October I was hired on permanently as their main warehouse person over inventory and keeping certain areas afloat. I thought sure enough I would get a raise, but..I didn't. Once again God told me to stay and work for his glory and he would provide. A month later, I randomly had my previous coworker from the mortgage industry reach out to me saying that certain companies were hiring and for a higher pay rate. Unfortunately, 2 of the companies I ended up interviewing with significantly reduced the amount because of my absence from mortgage for a couple of years. I even had one of them send me an offer letter but deep inside, I still didn't feel peace. Last month, I received a random call from one of my headhunters telling me that if it wasn't too late, they had a law firm that at first wasn't responding, wanting to interview with me. I said you know what, let's do it. The worst they can do is tell me no. Well to make this part short, I interviewed with 3 different ladies, even did a quiz with one of them to see what I still knew and I was very honest about what my hearts desire was. I also gave a specific amount to my head hunter because I had peace about it and felt worthy enough to ask. They said they would let them know and then it was just a waiting game. Come a week later, I received an offer letter for 2 different positions of my choosing and they offered me the exact amount that I asked for plus monthly bonuses plus OT and full benefits and vacation! I knew this had to be God because I prayed before getting the email and told him the "Lord, if this is your will and its time for me to go, then they have to match the offer."

They matched the offer and more! Plus its working from home! What a huge blessing of a financial increase to be making $22,000 more per year plus more. This is not easy for me because I loved working with the people at Goodman, but the Branch manager told me I could come back and he even asked if I could still do some administrative work from home for him as well! I give all of the glory to Jesus!! Things like this just don't happen in the natural, but with God...ANYTHING is possible!! Please be praying for me during this transition for peace, comfort of missing my friends and wisdom on learning the new job! Thank you!
